• Following a village showing of the film ‘An Inconvenient Truth’
  (February 2008) a Climate Change Action Group was set up
  with 10 objectives. Our community Crop Production Project
  was one of them.

• Prior to its meeting in September 2008 the Parish Council
  and Residents viewed a showing of the DVD ‘Power of the
  Community (Life without oil - the Cuban experience)’.

• The Parish Council adopted Transition status following
  the showing of the DVD and committed itself to seeking the
  use of land for a community crop production project.

• Using a leasing template provided by the District Council's
  Solicitor, the project was launched over Easter 2009.
